OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS CARE

Two Outside School Hours Care programs are available at King’s.  The first is for children up to the age of 9, which is operated by the College.  The second is for children from the age of 10 -15 and is operated by King’s Christian Centre.

Term Time Outside School Hours Care

Two Outside School Hours Care programs are run on the King’s campus, Monday to Friday during term time.

• A Before School and After School Care programme operates within the Noah’s Ark long day care facility for children from Prep to Year 3.  Before School Care operates from 7.30 am.  After School Care runs from the end of the school day until 5.30pm.
• An After School Care program catering for children of school age up to 15 years of age is operated by King’s Christian Centre.  This program runs from the end of the school day until 6.00pm.  There is no Before School Care offered in this program.
  

 

Quality supervision of the children is provided in a relaxed atmosphere, allowing for study time, afternoon tea, access to computers (for students in the older group) and recreational facilities.

Vacation Care

• The program for children up to Year 3 operates for all school holidays excluding 4 weeks over the December/January period.
• The program for children from school age to 15 years or age offers indoor and outdoor sporting activities together with daily excursions to a variety of venues on the Gold Coast, and includes the December / January period.
