Inaugural Junior School Ethics Olympiad

Academic

This week, ten students from Years 5 and 6 competed in the inaugural Junior School Ethics Olympiad, where they debated some controversial ethical cases. Cases included topics such as lying, veganism, generosity and friendship, and it was a great opportunity for them to research and prepare to discuss some pertinent topics their age group face today. Our students competed in three heats against schools around Australia and New Zealand and while King’s did not receive a placing, one of our teams scored an honourable mention. Well done to all the students involved.
