On Thursday, our Year 5 students celebrated their Foundational Values Assembly Awards. It was a proud moment as we recognised students who exemplified these important values throughout the school year. Congratulations to all the recipients for your hard work and dedication—your commitment inspires us all! Keep shining!
On Monday, our Year 4 students enjoyed an insightful lesson on waste management and recycling! They learned about different types of waste and the importance of recycling through fun activities, like sorting materials into the correct bins. It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm as they shared ideas for making a positive impact at home and school, such as starting compost bins and organising clean-up days. We're proud of our students for taking steps to become responsible stewards of the environment! Let's keep encouraging them to practice recycling every day!
On Thursday, our Year 6 students participated in a hands-on voting experience, casting their votes for their favourite camp shirt design. Each student signed off on the role and cast their vote on a ballot sheet at a polling booth, gaining valuable insight into the Australian voting system. Excitement filled the air as people wondered which design would win.
This week, our Year 8 students had a fantastic time at camp on the Sunshine Coast! They eagerly participated in various activities, strengthening relationships and developing new skills. The evenings were especially enjoyable as they gathered to worship together and to listen to the word of God.
This week, our high school girls' volleyball team had an amazing time competing in the Premier Volleyball League! The energy was infectious, and every match brought us closer together. We embraced the challenges and celebrated the fun along the way!
On Wednesday, our Life team successfully fundraised for 5Fold by selling over 700 sausages at the sausage sizzle. It was heartwarming to see so many smiling faces enjoying a sausage during second break. A huge well done to the Life team for their hard work and dedication!
On February 7-8, 3 of our talented students shone at the first competition for 2026 within Equestrian.
