View all 2023 Term DatesYear 6 students were invited on a private tour of Parliament House. Parliament House in Brisbane is the meeting place of the Parliament of Queensland, housing its only chamber, the Legislative Assembly.
Students impressed the tour guide with their knowledge of the Australian Democratic System.
Students had the opportunity to sit in the seat of the Qld Premier, view the Marples and Beasley ceremonial mace on their exploration of the 134-year-old building.
On May 3, Pacific District Cross Country. King's Logan Village was represented by three runners. Emily Fowell, Sophia Blackwell and Brooklyn Hennessey. Brooklyn ran an outstanding race to win the Silver medal in the Boy's 10 Years age group and is now turning his attention to the upcoming Regional Trials to be held next Tuesday. We wish Brooklyn the best of luck.
