Australian Bush Adventure for Year 8 Camp

The Year 8 students ventured to Tyalgum Ridge for their annual year level camp, where the crater walls of Mount Warning were the backdrop for a truly Australian bush adventure. The students enjoyed an authentic experience of the outdoors, with activities such as hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and archery. Back at the campsite, our students enjoyed close contact with the many farm animals and native wildlife.

Devotions were a highlight on both nights. Students learned more about the Holy Spirit in an atmosphere where the presence of God was felt. The camp was filled with many memorable moments where students demonstrated personal growth, from conquering a fear of heights on the high ropes to learning how to navigate the bush.
