Big Plans for 2020 at Pimpama

At King’s Pimpama, we are embarking on our biggest year of development in the school’s history. You would have no doubt seen the work that has been completed over the break, which is only the beginning of a year-long $8m investment into this campus. So far, we have added three play areas, enhanced multiple landscape areas, completed a major upgrade of the Pavilion, added a six-classroom block and extended the car park at the Gainsborough Greens entrance.

The school year started with a big “jump for joy” on the new jumping pillow by most of the students, and the newly installed refrigerated bubblers have been a great hit with the students, especially on our hot and humid summer days.

New prospective students, who attended the first Principal’s Tour in January, have also greatly admired our jumping pillow. The next event is on Tuesday ,11 February at 6pm. Feel free to invite your friends to come along and even have a go on the pillow!

On their very first day our Preps were all treated to a special photoshoot with Aslan, while the Year 8’s have settled in nicely and enjoying their next year of high school.

Two major building projects will begin in early March which will be completed by the end of the year. You can access the plans for the new Library and High School building on our website. The jumping pillow will have new shade sails and building will start on another new major signature playground towards the end of Term 1.

In addition to these exciting developments, the leadership and staff at King’s Pimpama are looking forward to seeing our students continue to grow in areas of their spirituality, leadership, academics, cultural endeavours and reaching their God given potential.
