Celebrating Easter at King's Pimpama

Pimpama

Easter is a very special time of year for our Christian community, as we reflect on the magnitude of what our Lord Jesus Christ did for us on the cross through his death and resurrection, bringing eternal hope to all who believe in Him. This year, King's created a special Easter video with a message from our Chaplains and a song sung by our King's choirs. The video was shared with students in small classroom services on the last day of school. Every King's student was also offered a commemorative 2021 Easter shirt to wear on the last day of school. Preps to Year 3 had a practice fun run and enjoyed running in their new gear. For those who were not at school on the last day, these can be collected from Main Reception during school holiday office hours or in Term 2.

"For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes."
