Chapels Continue to Impact our Community

Chaplaincy

King's staff and Chaplaincy team continue to shine the light of Jesus every day at our College, as students encounter God across our faith-filled community. We are certain that despite the pandemic and its impact on our lives, God is always working in the hearts of our young people, bringing His peace and hope, in a time of uncertainty. Our exciting weekly chapel services and daily devotion times are a very important part of the Christian culture of King's, and will continue to run this term with an adjusted format.

Primary Chapels

Primary Chapels happen every Wednesday morning at King's, and each week this term our primary year levels will take turns to enjoy Chapel in the Church, while the other year levels will participate in the same Chapel service in their classrooms. Our students in Prep - Year 4 are learning about some of the 'Bible Allstars' this term, while Years 5 - 6 are enjoying the Youth Alpha course.

High School Chapels

High School Chapels transitioned to an online format in Term 2, with an emphasis on smaller group discussions and community building. This term, there has been a welcome return to our face-to-face Chapel experience in the Church, with Chapels held in individual year levels, to enable this to occur. High school students are delving deeper into the Fruit of the Spirit and the development of Christian character, as this term's topic. The combination of live preaching, Spirit-led worship, video media, student leadership and interactive activities, has all created a vibrant and engaging Chapel experience across High School.

"Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
