Debating Teams Nudge Closer to Finals

Pimpama

King’s Christian College had a mixed night of debating on 2 June, winning one out of their four debates. One team (KCP1) remains undefeated champions at the end of the season. The intermediate team debated at AB Paterson College and the junior teams debated at St Stephen’s College. This was the second round of 'Secret Subject' topics and the last debate of the regular season. All students represented the College well. The moot was: ‘Protesting is an effective way to create change.’ The finals series starts next semester on 14 July (Week One) at All Saint’s Anglican College (Junior A) and AB Paterson College (Intermediate B).

Two junior teams (KCP1 & KCP2) are firmly locked into the first finals round yet. Unfortunately, one of our junior teams (KCP3) and the intermediate B team (KCP1) have just an outside chance, depending on other results.
