Free Learn to Jump Program
Skipping (also known as jump rope) is a simple, fun and affordable way to keep fit at home, and is suitable for all ages. You don’t need much space or equipment, and there are many benefits including improved fitness, muscle and bone strength, coordination, balance and agility. Skipping quickly raises the heart rate, releases endorphins, and helps increase positive mental health and wellbeing.
King’s Skipperoos (our after school skipping program) has secured a fantastic introductory jump rope program and they are offering this free of charge to the King’s community. The 10-week program is perfect for Primary and High School students, teachers/ coaches, and parents, and teaches basic to intermediate level skills, designed and presented by Australian skipper and World Champion, Luke Boon.
The free program includes:
- 50+ INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS to guide you through many different skills
- Skills checklist PASSPORT which includes visual guides and explanations
- 10 LESSON PLANS for use when teaching/coaching jump rope skill
