Introducing Ms Desirae Glover - Prep Teacher
Ms Desirae Glover joined us this term to teach Prep (PAS), replacing Mrs Vanessa Smart.
I have been a teacher for almost 10 years now and enjoy it immensely. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was in Human Resources where I worked in both public and private sectors.
I have taught a variety of grades, most recently Year One for the last four years. So I am most confident to be teaching Prep as I know where students need to be to begin Year One.
I have two amazing children - Isabella and Lachlan. Isabella is in Year 12 and Lachlan is in Year 10. I am a founding parishioner at St Matthew's Anglican Church, Upper Coomera - part of Gold Coast North Anglican Diocese.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and love spending time with nature - exploring God's beautiful creations. I have a passion for music and also dabble in some painting when I get the opportunity.
One of my favourite Bible verses that I live by is Proverbs 31:25 - "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." This passage alone has seen me through many challenges and with God's strength, love and grace I overcame. I look forward to meeting you and teaching your little blessings and further developing their Literacy and Numeracy fundamental skills, knowledge and understanding.
