King's 19th Annual Sports Awards

Sport

King's prestigious annual Sports Awards Evening recognises and rewards students and teams who have shown outstanding commitment, character and excellence in sport during the year. Our College and dedicated Sports Department continually works to champion every sport and student, and our 19th Annual Sports Awards event was a wonderful celebration of King's collective 2021 success. COVID continued to disrupt sporting competitions throughout this year, with some events cancelled, some moved to different dates or locations, all national school competitions cancelled, and athletics events majorly affected for the second year in a row. Despite the fluid changes, our students showed remarkable resilience, determination and perseverance to push through and help King’s achieve some of the best results on record. Throughout the evening, parents and family members, watched on as the students received special awards for a number of outstanding achievements. The audience was also entertained throughout the event with a special live performance from music duo - Bo'Ness [who performed on The Voice], enjoyed a lively Kahoot Quiz and a range of sporting highlight videos from the year.
