King's Equestrian Student to Represent Australia

Reedy Creek

Sabrina Hitch (Year 10) travelled to Werribee in Victoria over the school holidays to compete at the Inter-School Australian championships. Sabrina and her horse Dandy won the Elementary Dressage championship and the Champing Working Hunter.

These results take Sabrina to six National Champion results having never been defeated at Inter-School Nationals.

After all results were taken into consideration, Sabrina was selected to represent Australia at the World Dressage Challenge in Borneo. Sabrina is the only Queensland rider to have been selected and will compete against a number of other countries both individually and as a team.

Following this event, Sabrina will then compete in the FEI Junior Dressage held at the Australian Championships. This event is open to professionals and Olympic riders. Sabrina will be given the opportunity to gain a world ranking by competing at this level.

Congratulations Sabrina on your selection for Australia! We wish you every success.
