Maxim Baruksopulo Performed in Carmen's Children Choir at HOTA

In May, Year 7 student Maxim Baruksopulo auditioned for the world's most popular Spanish opera, Carmen, and was selected for the Carmen Children's Choir, performing on stage next to some of Australia's finest opera singers: Angela Hogan and Dimity Shepherd.

Maxim has been training really hard, going to every rehearsal since May. He has been learning to sing in French as well, which is a new language to him. Maxim is a dedicated student, striving to do his very best as he represents his school and the Pimpama campus.

Maxim's love of music is an inspiration and he would like to inspire others to join the choirs at school, start learning a musical instrument or just simply strive for the best at any subject.
