Mission Trips Teach Selfless Service

On the last Wednesday of Term 3, King's farewelled three groups of senior students and Chaplaincy staff on Mission Trips to Chinchilla, Saint George and Rockhampton. These 78 compassionate young people will spend part of their school holidays serving in remote Queensland communities, modelling the love of Jesus and being spiritually impacted as they set aside their plans to put God first. As a cornerstone of our College and one of King's core Foundational Values, we facilitate mission-based activities, like these and encourage our students to take part so that they can practise serving others as they Love Faithfully in such a practical way. We pray they have an incredible five days away!
