New King's Records at the 2020 APS Swimming Carnival

Reedy Creek

The 2020 swimming season is well underway. Both our Primary and High School swimming teams competed last week at the APS carnival. All swimmers did an outstanding job supporting each other and trying their best to get maximum points for King’s.

On day one, our High School team got off to a flying start leading the carnival in points after the 100m Freestyle and 50m Breaststroke events. Scores were extremely close throughout the day. Our High School team finished strong in the relay events and finished 2nd overall. Our previous best result was 4th. Well done High School swimmers!

Our Primary team also did an amazing job in the water. Maya Zunker broke a 21 year old APS record in the 50m Breaststroke and our team improved one place from last year's overall result. Well done to all swimmers on a successful carnival. A big thank you to all of the Primary swimmers who trained before school in the lead up to the carnival.

All the best to our regional qualifiers. Go King's!
