Nurse Sue Robertson Weds

Pimpama nurse Sue Robertson married Mr Allan Clements on 24 April 2021 at the Broadwater Chapel by the Sea (formerly the chapel of Gold Coast Hospital, her former workplace). The ceremony was followed by a casual reception at Cafe Catalina in the afternoon.

Both Sue and Allan were widowed: Allan in 2015 and Sue in 2013. Both their spouses were just 54 years old when they passed away.

"We met in 2017 and are very blessed to have found each other," said Nurse Sue, who attends Robina Newlife Church with her new husband.

"Our good friend and Pastor, Melissa Lipsett, married us and Pastor Brad Foote prayed a blessing over us," she added.

The reception was attended by close family and a few friends. Sadly her brothers, who live in Perth, could not attend due to lockdown but her sister-in-law, Angela James-Wallace, just made it in to be her bridesmaid.

The newlywed couple honeymooned in Darwin during June/July school break.
