Prep Students Continue to Grow their Confidence

Pimpama

The younger Pimpama King’s students are continuing to adapt well in Term 2 with the many changes that have been required of them during this challenging time and for the current “new normal” we are all facing. One such change has been parental access to the classroom and school grounds.

Currently, parents do not have routine access to school grounds and this can be an emotional time for the younger students, as well as their parents.

When all students return on Monday 25 May, the school access measures will continue until further notice. Thank you to parents for ensuring physical distancing measures are upheld on campus.

The Pimpama Prep teachers would like to say congratulations to the prep students on how well they are saying goodbye to Mum and Dad at the drop off, Kiss and Go zones. "The Prep students are confidently walking to their classrooms with a friend or teacher, settling back into their school routine and happily engaging in all the various activities each day," says Prep teacher, Mrs Bruneau.

King’s parents are required to continue to use the marked drop-off zones when dropping off and picking up their children.

Please note that temperature checking will continue with staff temperature testing every person (students, staff, visitors) coming on to school grounds. Anyone with an elevated temperature will be asked to leave the premises. For the health of our whole community, please do not send your children to school if they are unwell.
