Rain Doesn't Dampen Year 6 Graduation Spirits at Pimpama

Pimpama

Record rainfall in November did not dampen the spirits of Year 6 students at the graduation dinner.

Our King's Year 6 students switched their school uniforms for dazzling dresses and smart attire on Thursday night, 26 November, as they came together in the auditorium to begin their graduation celebrations. The rain didn't dampen spirits as students began the event posing for photos with family and friends, before being ushered into the auditorium for a memorable evening of dinner, dancing, entertainment and fun. Our Campus Principal, Mr Verreynne, and Head of Primary, Mrs Hope Malcolm, presented each graduate with their own Bible and graduation certificate, as they walked across the stage for the final time as primary students.

Our annual Year 6 Graduation celebration marks an important milestone in the cohort's school journey, as they prepare to finish Primary School and step into their new role as High School students. Dressed to perfection and displaying their best behaviour, the students made us all very proud of the incredible young people they have become. The cohort treasured their final primary year with fond memories of their recent Cairns Trip, Sports Carnivals and many great moments at King's that will remain with them all for many years to come.

Thank you to our staff and parents for helping prepare for this incredible event, and thank you students for all that you have brought to our Primary School community over the years - we pray for your continued success throughout your time in High School!
