King's Success at National School Swimming Champs

The National School Swimming Championships were held last week at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre. Seven of King's talented elite swimmers qualified for this event as members of the South Coast National Team. Over the past few months, these students had successfully competed in the South Coast Regional Trials and the Queensland School Championships, to then qualify for the highest level of swimming at the national schools' event.

  • Sebastine Du Preez | Nationals Multi-class Results - Silver: 100m Breast; Bronze: Mixed Medley Relay; 4th: 50m Breast
  • Tanyka Goode | Results - 4th: Medley Relay; 6th: 100 Free Final; 10th: 50 Free Final, Silver: Medal Free Relay
  • Makyra Melo | Results - Bronze: 50 Free; Silver: Free Relay
  • Maximum Truman | Qualified to Nationals after achieving 4th in Backstroke Final
  • Maya Zunker | Results - Bronze: 50 Breast; Bronze: 100 Breast; 4th: 50 Free; 8th: Open 50 Breast; Fastest 13-year-old time at school Nationals; Silver: Medley Relay; Bronze: Medley Relay
