Year 3s Explore the Universe
Year 3 students enjoyed a full immersion in outer space during their excursion to the Planetarium in Brisbane last Tuesday. The cohort have been learning about planets and space during Integrated Studies this term, so it was a fascinating way for them to see the universe recreated in the Planetarium’s Cosmic Skydome Theatre, as well as the other cosmic exhibits. Students also spent part of the excursion walking through the Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens hunting for natural treasures, and they thoroughly enjoyed their day exploring God's creation both here on earth and beyond.
