Year 5 Camp Report

Last week, we went to Mount Tamborine for our Year 5 school camp. It felt like a really long bus ride but after only an hour's drive, we made it to camp. The first thing we did when we arrived, was to unload all of the bags from the bus and then put them outside the main hall ready to move to our cabins. After watching a short video about the camp rules, we enjoyed morning tea and then jumped into our activities. These were a lot of fun and included gliding in the sky on the glider possum, swinging on the giant swing and making a fire to cook damper on. On one of the days it rained, so we switched to inside activities which were still fun but I was disappointed to miss out on archery.

Everything about our camp was amazing, from the devotions to the activities and even the food. My favourite part of camp was the devotions with our amazing King's Chaplains because it was a great time to make new friends and connect with God. Year 5 Camp was the best!
