Pimpama Clubs Years 1-2

Choosing Clubs

Below is the selection of Clubs available to students in Years 1 - 2.

  • Some clubs are only available to specific year levels
  • Please register for your preferred Club
  • Once you have registered, we are unable to make changes.
  • Each of the Clubs have a cap on numbers. Once this cap is reached, registrations will no longer be available.
  • For those Clubs that have a cost, payment by credit card can be made on-line as you are registering.
  • Once you have completed your registration, you will receive a confirmation email

Paper Craft

An introduction to Paper Craft. It is a creative activity that develops the skills and processes which will enable students to develop their own creations. Paper Craft develops hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. This club focusses on paper folder and manipulation with activities that become more complex as the children’s skills develop.

Fusion Chess

Do you want your child to enhance their focus, solidify memory retention and utilise specific cognitive strategies all while having FUN? Then the CHESS EXPERIENCE is for you. An exciting combination of coaching + competition games weekly with the coach, as he presents an enthusiastic approach to learning a great game that builds life skills. Medals awarded at the end of the program - Limited positions available.

Skippy Zippy Club

Hop, skip and jump into a skipping good time. Learn a combination of skills in a fun, fast paced session of games and skills. Play follow the leader, maze challenges, skipping relays and timed races. Fundamental movement skills are a specific set of skills that involve different body parts such as feet, legs, trunk, head, arms and hands. These skills are the “building blocks” for more complex and specialised skills that kids will need throughout their lives to competently participate in different games, sports and recreational activities.

Venue - Handball court

Dress Requirements: Sport uniform on sport day or appropriate sport shoes, shorts and t-shirt if not a sport day.

Bible Lego Creations

An innovative, hands-on approach to studying the bible. Budding theologians express their understanding of Scripture through exciting individual and group constructions, representing the stories and themes of the world's greatest book!

Available for students in Years 1 and 2

Art and Digital Design

Art and Digital Design Club is for Year 1 and 2 Students who are passionate about making and creating. Classes will include drawing, painting, sculpture and a variety of digital designs using the iPads. Taking inspiration from nature, as well as artists such as Picasso, Van Gough and Andy Warhol, little hands and minds will continue to be inspired!

Available for students in Years 1 and 2

Limited to 30 students

Team Sports and Games

Fun and exciting team games with an emphasis on teamwork and good sportsmanship. With a mixture of classic and modern games found in P.E., students will have the chance to be outdoors while working on key motor skills found in many sports. Activities will include European handball, capture the flag, t-ball and soccer.

Available for students in Years 1 and 2

Dress Requirements: Sport uniform on sport day or appropriate sport shoes, shorts and t-shirt if not a sport day.
