It has been a full and memorable year across our Pimpama campus, and I am so proud of how our students have grown in confidence, character, and learning. From joyful celebrations and creative achievements to milestone moments in ELC, Primary and High School, Term 4 has been filled with highlights that reflect the heart of our community. As we head into Christmas, there is much to celebrate and be thankful for.
Isaiah 9:6 - For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
Class of 2025
Our graduating class of 2025, the Year of the Journey, walked our halls for the final time as they made their way through the tunnel, marking the close of their school chapter.
The day was marked first in joy and prayer as they gathered for their final chapel, where they were anointed and prayed over as they prepared to step into what comes next.
Congratulations on this extraordinary achievement. We are so proud of our Year 12s and pray for God’s provision, wisdom and opportunity as they move into the next part of their journey.
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will act.” - Psalm 37:5
Our Year 12 students gathered last week for a memorable evening of celebration as we marked the conclusion of their schooling journey. The Graduation Dinner brought students, families and staff together to honour a milestone many years in the making. It was a time filled with gratitude, reflection and excitement for the future, as our graduates shared moments of laughter, connection and pride.
Throughout the evening, a number of special awards were presented to acknowledge character, leadership, commitment and academic excellence. These recognitions highlighted not only the hard work of our students, but also the dedication, resilience and growth they have demonstrated throughout their senior years.
One of the most significant parts of the night was the presentation of their final certificates. As each graduate walked the stage to receive this culminating document, it marked the official close of their formal schooling and the beginning of a new chapter filled with opportunities, learning and purpose.
We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025 and the impact they have made within our community. We celebrate their achievements, honour their journey and look forward with anticipation as they step confidently into the pathways ahead.
Year 12 Legacy Day
Our Year 12 students recently enjoyed a memorable Legacy Day, a celebration designed to honour their journey and the mark they will leave on our College community. The day brought the cohort together for a mix of fun, reflection, and connection as they stepped into their final days of schooling.
Students took part in a range of activities, beginning with the iconic Year 12 drone photo before moving on to a Teaching and Learning wrap-up session, acknowledging their growth and achievements throughout the year. The energy continued with slip-and-slide kickball, team-based challenges, drama games, and plenty of laughter as they embraced the spirit of togetherness.
Legacy Day provided a meaningful opportunity for students to pause, celebrate, and enjoy this final season as a cohort. We are incredibly proud of the young people they have become and the legacy of leadership, character, and community they leave behind.
Our recent Year 3 - 6 Intercampus Spelling Tournament was an incredible celebration of language, learning, and friendly competition! The energy in the room was electric as students from across campuses came together in teams to showcase their spelling skills in an atmosphere filled with excitement and encouragement.
Each round challenged participants with words of increasing difficulty, testing not only their spelling ability but also their focus and resilience.
Highlights of the day included:
Congratulations to all participants for their hard work and enthusiasm! Special recognition goes to our top spellers who earned their place as 'Kings Intercampus Champions'. Your dedication and love for words inspire us all.

Our Year 6 students celebrated the completion of their Primary School journey with a wonderful Graduation. It was an evening filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments as students, staff, and families gathered to celebrate this significant milestone. The night featured a delicious dinner, plenty of dancing, and opportunities for students to reflect on their achievements and friendships. It was truly special to see the pride and excitement on their faces as they embraced the next chapter of their education.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible, our staff and parent volunteers who worked behind the scenes to create such a memorable occasion.
Congratulations to our 2025 Year 6 graduates! We are so proud of you and look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the years ahead.
Recently, our Year 2 students had a wonderful day out at the Beenleigh Historical Village & Museum, stepping back in time to explore how people lived long ago.
This special open-air museum is like a real-life time machine, with restored heritage buildings, vintage treasures, and fascinating stories from the early days of the Beenleigh area.
A big highlight was visiting the Loganholme One Teacher School (opened in 1873 and used until 1974). The children sat at old wooden desks, just like their great-great-grandparents might have done, and imagined what school was like over 100 years ago.
They also stepped inside the old printing shop, where they watched a real vintage printing press in action. Each student received their very own souvenir sheet hot off the press—printed on a machine that’s over a century old! They were thrilled to take home this special piece of history.
The excitement continued when they climbed aboard a shiny 1950s fire engine, dressed up in real firefighter gear, and even got to spray water with a proper fire hose—lots of giggles and soaked uniforms guaranteed!
Everyone came home buzzing with stories, having developed a deeper appreciation for the simple comforts we enjoy today. Trips like this bring history to life and help our students feel connected to the past of our local community. A huge thank you to the staff at Beenleigh Historical Village for such a memorable experience!
In Week 6 of Term 4, the Year 3 students from King’s Christian College went on an exciting excursion to David Fleay’s Wildlife Park in Burleigh. Since we have been learning about living and non-living things, this was the perfect chance to see our classroom learning in the real world.
We began with a Living and Non-Living Show run by the park rangers. They showed us an owl, a possum, and a snake, and we used the seven life processes to decide what makes something living. It was amazing to see the animals up close and learn how each one survives in its environment.
Next, we created our own mini environments, using a mix of living, non-living, and once-living objects. This activity helped us understand how different things work together to keep an ecosystem healthy. We also had great discussions about what the most important non-living thing is in a habitat—sunlight or water—and why living things rely on both.
Some highlights of the day were seeing turtles, watching the crocodile feeding, having red-tailed black cockatoos swoop over us, and meeting a very confident water dragon! Walking through Wallaby Way was another favourite moment.
We were thankful for the beautiful weather and the chance to enjoy some of God’s amazing creations. It was a fun and memorable day for all of Year 3!
In week 8, we celebrated the students who participated in Reading tutor and MacqLit lessons as part of our Literacy Intervention Program at King's Pimpama. These students worked with enthusiasm, tackled new words with courage and showed great determination to persevere in their reading. This steadfastness resulted in significant growth in most of their outcomes. They are an inspiration to their peers, and their teachers are so proud of them!

For Parents and Guardians
External study options are only available for Year 11 and 12 students. If you wish your child (Year 9–10) to undertake an external option or course, this should be done outside normal school hours. Please see the policy.
Year 12, what next? If your young adult is still undecided about what to do next year, please help them to continue moving forward. Often, with the freedom of not having to attend school and few restrictions placed on them, they can become rudderless. What can you do to assist your child:
Help them get a job as a trainee to develop employability skills.
Get them into a trade apprenticeship. Evidence has shown that with AI impacting many roles, tradespeople are becoming the 'new millionaires'. There are many positions on offer.
Get them studying a course with the Government-funded program called Career Start. This allows students who have left school to undertake a Certificate 3 course and reduced/no cost. Many RTOs offer this option. Look at TAFE, Aurora, and Barrington College, to name a few.

This term, our school participated in Operation Christmas Child, and we are thrilled to share that we collected 474 boxes! Each box represents a child who will be blessed with practical gifts, care, and the opportunity to hear the gospel. We are so grateful for the generosity of our families, staff and the way our school community has come together to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children around the world. Thank you for your support!
Blessings,
