A big well done to all the students who received Foundational Value Awards for showing these values in their daily actions!
On Thursday, 26 March, our Year 6 students hosted their second Foundational Values assembly, showcasing their commitment to our core principles. Congratulations to all students who received Foundational Value Awards for exemplifying these values in their everyday actions!
This term, our Year 8 Design Technologies class has been working on designing their own USB lamps using CAD software on their iPads. They also had the chance to bring their designs to life with the laser cutter, and the results are impressive!
On Wednesday, 25 March, we hosted our Year 4-9 cross-country event, and it was a tremendous success! The sun was shining, and our students were out in full force, demonstrating their running skills and incredible teamwork. There was an abundance of cheers for friends throughout the course, showcasing the spirit of sportsmanship.
A heartfelt thank you to our P&F for providing tasty lunch options and refreshing drinks. Additionally, we appreciate our sports department and teachers for their unwavering support during the event. Our Noah's Ark students also joined in, cheering for their older peers and adding to the wonderful atmosphere. It was a day brimming with excitement and community spirit!
Today, we had an incredible time at our Prep to Year 3 Fun Run! It was a fantastic way to celebrate the last day of the term, filled with laughter, joy, and lots of active fun. Our young runners showcased their enthusiasm and determination as they raced to the finish line. Congratulations to all our students who placed in their races—your hard work and spirit truly shone bright! Thank you to our Pre Prep students for watching and cheering everyone on. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success, as well as our P&F, who kept our students full of energy with their house cookies and poppers, and kept the parents fed with hamburgers.
Last Thursday in our last primary chapel for Term 1, we discussed the importance of prayer during times of temptation. It was a powerful reminder to pause and connect with God before making decisions. We also reflected on finding our identity in God, which helps us navigate the challenges of high school during our High school chapel. These conversations are grounding and remind us of the support we have in our faith community. Here’s to staying true to ourselves!
On Tuesday, 31 March, we celebrated our Easter chapels for both primary and high school. The beautiful performances from our choirs and Year 6 students' surprise rendition of "John" captivated everyone. Pastor Harry Slade shared an inspiring message on Easter's significance, connecting the egg to Jesus's resurrection, and was complemented by uplifting worship from our chaplains.
On April 31, we celebrated Easter Fest filled with joy and creativity! The inflatable area buzzed with laughter as students showcased their artwork. The night concluded with delightful performances, creating a memorable event. Let’s remember the true meaning of Easter and continue to spread joy in our community!
Today, our primary school students had a blast fundraising for 5FOLD by wearing their craziest socks! Laughter filled the playgrounds as everyone showed off their colourful, quirky designs. It was a fantastic way to support a great cause while having fun and embracing creativity.
On the last day of term, our high school students donned tradie outfits and enjoyed delicious sausages sizzle with chocolate milk. This fun dress-up day was also a successful fundraiser for 100% Hope, supporting a great cause. Thank you for participating!
