Yesterday afternoon, our Early Learning Centre hosted a wonderful gathering where fathers and grandfathers enjoyed a delightful sausage sizzle alongside fun activities with their ELC students. It was a heartwarming afternoon filled with laughter and bonding, strengthening relationships and creating lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed!
Our Year 1 students enjoyed a delightful day building tiny towns with their parents this week. Dressed in fun construction costumes, they truly embraced the theme of the day. It was an excellent opportunity for creativity and teamwork, as families collaborated to design colourful houses, parks, and shops. The excitement in the classroom was palpable, fostering lasting memories and community spirit!
Our Year 1 students are thriving as they dive into the world of words and spelling! They are enhancing their vocabulary and phonics skills through engaging activities and collaborative games. It's exciting to see their progress and enthusiasm for learning. Keep up the fantastic work, Year 1!
Our Year 4 and 5 students had an incredible time at camp, embracing challenges and pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones. They engaged in exciting outdoor activities during the day and gathered at night to hear inspiring words from our chaplains, feeling the comforting presence of God throughout their experience.

On Tuesday, 26 August, the Year 5 Science Fair culminated in an exciting showcase of student projects. Each student proudly presented their innovative experiments, reflecting the hard work and creativity they developed throughout the term. The event highlighted their scientific skills and fostered a spirit of inquiry among classmates and teachers.
Our Year 5 students have been exploring their creativity in art class by making vibrant bird sculptures. They crafted unique designs using various materials, learning about different bird species and their habitats. This hands-on project enhanced their artistic skills and fostered teamwork and collaboration among classmates.
We joyfully celebrated Father's Day with primary and high school fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and students this week. The event was filled with laughter and camaraderie as families engaged in fun games and activities. It was a heartwarming occasion that strengthened bonds and created lasting memories for everyone involved. A huge thank you to our amazing Mum army for serving the delicious brisket rolls!
Join us in celebrating the success of our first-ever bush dance hosted by the P&F! It was a heartwarming evening filled with dancing, laughter, and community spirit, all supporting raising funds for a new screen for our school. Thank you to our dedicated P&F team and wonderful volunteers!
More than just an elegant evening, the King’s Ball is one of our most significant fundraising events of the year. Proceeds from the silent auction directly support King’s high school students on mission trips - empowering them to Live Purposefully through life-changing experiences, especially for those who may not otherwise have the opportunity.

Last week, our Year 5 and Year 6 debating teams competed in their first QDU Debating competition—and both teams achieved fantastic results! Students debated the topic “Should all children's media have a happy ending?” and delivered compelling arguments and thoughtful rebuttals. Their hard work and preparation paid off, with both teams securing a win. Congratulations to all our debaters!
On Wednesday, 27 August, our high school celebrated a memorable chapel service led by Year 12 Pimpama students, filled with uplifting praise and worship. They also delivered an inspiring message on trusting God. It was a joyful occasion for Year 6 students to attend their first high school chapel and embrace this cherished tradition.
