View all 2025 Term DatesLast Saturday was delightful as we celebrated our annual King's Community Walk! Families enjoyed a beautiful morning together, making lasting memories. After our stroll, the children savoured a tasty zuppa duppa—a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to such a wonderful day.
On Tuesday 16, September was a fantastic Sports Day for our Kindy students! They enjoyed games like the obstacle course, shopping, egg & spoon races, and rocket throwing. Dressed in house colours, their energy was infectious! Thanks to our dedicated ELC teachers and Sports Director for a joy-filled morning!
This week at CBD (Creative by Design) was nothing short of extraordinary, centred around the theme "Mission Possible," inspired by Matthew 19:26: "With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible."
We launched our week with a vibrant new CBD song, followed by daily chapels led by Ps. Jess, Ps—Panatswa Dindigwe, Andino, and Miss Baldwin, who wowed us with exciting science experiments.
The excitement continued with an inspiring talk from a Paralympian Alberto Cambell-Staines, an electrifying laser show, art masterclasses, Drama show - King David, tribal wars, scripture showdowns, and a thrilling silent disco. We wrapped up this fantastic week with a fun colour run, celebrating our shared experiences and the possibilities ahead. Thank you to everyone who made this week unforgettable!
Our CBD week and the last day of Term 3 concluded with an exhilarating colour run! Students and staff, brimming with joy, participated in this vibrant celebration. Laughter and excitement filled the air as everyone came together, creating unforgettable memories and marking a fantastic end to the term.
Our students showcased their exceptional talents at King’s Has Talent this week! From singing to dancing and everything in between, the performances dazzled the audience. Congratulations to all the talented participants for their hard work and creativity. You made the event truly special and unforgettable for everyone!
Last week, our Year 8 students had a fantastic time in class as they delved into a fun experiment involving chicken wings! They explored the fascinating world of tendons and muscles by locating the tendon in the chicken wing and getting hands-on experience by moving it to control the wing.
Seeing their curiosity and engagement was terrific as they connected classroom learning to real-life biology! Here's to more experiments and discoveries ahead!
South Coast Athletics
In week 7 we had 8 students qualify for the south coast regional trials and compete at runaway bay.
This is a wonderful achievement to make it this far and we want to celebrate their efforts. Students have been putting in extra trainings this term to prepare and they have all set PB’s because of this. Top Results were Emme Bork achieving 3rd place overall in Shotput by 2cm and Shaun Arora finishing 3rd overall for Shotput. Congratulations
to all students and we look to build on these efforts next year.
Twilight Ensemble Concert Newsletter Report 2025
A delightful evening was had by all who attended the Twilight Ensemble Concert.
After many hours of preparation and rehearsals, the performers and teachers were very excited to present a fabulous night of entertainment. The audience was very impressed with the quality of the students' performances.
Performances from King's music groups, both small and large included items from Senior and Junior Primary Choirs (Mrs Addison), String Orchestra (Miss Kwen), Concert Band (Mrs Terhorst), Year 4 String Orchestra (Mr Chislett and Miss Chang) and Year 4 Band (Mrs Terhorst and Mr Aspinall). And performing for their first public performance was the Guitar ensemble (Mr Hawker.)
We are immensely proud of the dedication and talent our students have poured into preparing for this event, which is a testament to the incredible musical journey they have undertaken. Thank you to the fantastic teachers who’ve worked tirelessly with the students to prepare them for their performances, and for all who joined us in celebrating their hard work and passion for music.
The annual King's Ball is more than just a glamorous evening for parents and staff from Logan Village, Pimpama and Reedy Creek campuses to celebrate our College - it is one of the most impactful fundraising events of the year.
Hosted by the Reedy Creek P&F, you are invited to partner with us in championing students to participate in life-changing mission trips. From Year 10, teams of students travel to remote communities in Queensland and developing nations abroad on mission trips. These experiences encourage students to engage in meaningful community development projects, foster leadership, compassion, and a deep sense of service. Through these immersive trips, students are empowered to LIVE PURPOSEFULLY, making a real-world impact while gaining a broader understanding of global and local challenges.

RUOKDAY celebration was a tremendous success! Our wellbeing team and chaplains delighted everyone with delicious hot pancakes, served by our dedicated P&F team. Vibrant yellow and black outfits filled the room as our pastor delivered a heartfelt message about caring for one another.
