Year 12 Formal

The following was submitted by Year 12 Student Liv S. 

To grow more united with the Class of '26, dress up in our finest, and be surrounded by people we've grown up with through the years or even become close with recently felt like a blessing at formal. 

Formal wasn’t just an event; it was a monumental moment that truly marked the ending of the fun at school and to commemorate all the laughs and memories before we start drowning in our studies for externals. 

From the delicious food to the goofy music during awards and wonderful speeches given by our peers and teachers, the night was full of laughs and memories and I’m forever grateful to experience such an event and for all the hard work our teachers and parents put in to make this night special. 

A highlight was definitely the arrivals; the crowd of families and friends that gathered to support us and cheer for us when we got out of the cars was surreal and I’m sure it made everyone feel so special on the day. 

I’m sure we’ll all remember it forever- especially the way all the girls' feet ached from our heels the next day. It was a night that marked the ending of our childhood and the beginning of our adulthood, one that the Year of Momentum will cherish always.
