Year 7 History students have been exploring ancient societies, including Egypt and Rome. Their learning moved beyond the classroom when Living History visited King’s Christian College for an immersive, hands-on presentation.
Through engaging performances, students discovered what everyday life was like in these influential societies. The session concluded with students trying on replica clothing and armour, giving them a tangible connection to the people and cultures they had studied.
Thank you to Living History and to the students and staff who helped make the visit such a worthwhile and memorable experience. It was a wonderful example of history brought to life and students learning passionately.
