Our Year 9 students recently enjoyed an exciting camp experience in Melbourne, immersing themselves in the city’s history, culture, and faith community.
The trip began with a visit to Queen Victoria Market before students joined Planetshakers Church for praise and worship. Over the following days, students explored significant locations including the Holocaust Museum, Shrine Of Remembrance, Melbourne Cricket Ground, and Skydeck.
Each evening concluded with devotions and worship at Planetshakers, which became a highlight of the trip for many students.
Harry S. (Year 9) reflected, “The best part was 100 percent the Skydeck. I got some beautiful photos and the view was magnificent. Staying together in our groups made me feel a sense of belonging and security.”
The camp provided students with opportunities to grow in independence, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories while experiencing one of Australia’s most vibrant cities.
