Congratulations to Alexa, who achieved an outstanding result at the 2026 K2 Basecamp Queensland Youth Lead + Speed Titles held over the weekend.
Competing against some of Queensland's best young climbers, Alexa claimed 1st place in the Under 15 Female Lead category, earning the title of Queensland State Champion in her division.
The Queensland Youth Lead + Speed Titles are the premier state championship event for youth sport climbing, bringing together talented athletes from across the state to compete for championship honours. The event also serves as a qualifying competition for the 2027 Australian Youth Lead Nationals for eligible age groups.
Alexa's achievement is a wonderful reflection of her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to the sport. We congratulate her on this fantastic accomplishment and look forward to following her future success in sport climbing.
