On Thursday 10 September, the King’s community came together for R U OK? Day, encouraging students and staff to accessorise in yellow and donate a gold coin to support the important cause.
Hosted by the Wellbeing Team, the day focused on the powerful message that sometimes the most important thing we can do for someone is simply ask, “Are you OK?”
Students were encouraged to look out for one another and remember that every conversation has the potential to make a difference.
The LIFE Team also supported the event by running a pancake stand, raising funds for the cause.
At King’s, we believe every King’s Kid matters.
Through initiatives such as R U OK? Day, we continue to foster a caring and connected community where students are encouraged to Ask. Listen. Connect.
