Creative by Design Week is a unique part of the school calendar that provides students with opportunities to explore learning in new and engaging ways.
During the final week of term, the regular timetable is set aside to create space for experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity, collaboration, and personal growth.
At the heart of the week is the belief that God has created each person with unique gifts, talents, and purpose.
Creative by Design Week encourages students to explore different forms of expression while recognising that creativity itself reflects our Creator.
Through opportunities to learn, create, perform, serve, and connect, students are challenged to grow not only in their skills and confidence but also in their faith and understanding of God's work in their lives.
This year's program featured a wide range of exciting activities, including the ever-popular King's Has Talent showcase, Lego building challenges, Chess Masterclasses, special chapel services, entertainment from Dan Warlow, a visit from the Gold Coast Titans and more!
Throughout the week, students embraced opportunities to develop existing talents and build stronger connections with their peers and teachers.
A highlight of the week was the daily chapel services, where students were encouraged to reflect on their relationship with God and how they can use their gifts to positively influence those around them.
These moments of worship, teaching, and reflection complemented the creative and practical activities, helping students to see that faith can be expressed in many different ways.
The week culminated in a spectacular Colour Run, providing a fun and memorable celebration for students as they concluded the term.
We would like to thank our staff, students, guest presenters, and community partners for their enthusiasm, participation, and support throughout the week.
Their willingness to invest their time, talents, and expertise helped make Creative by Design Week such a positive and meaningful experience for our College community.
