Selected Year 4 students recently took part in a fun and engaging STEM Immersion Day, exploring concepts such as Simple Machines through an interactive iPad presentation before testing their problem-solving skills in a Mystery Box Challenge.
Working in teams, students rotated through a series of hands-on STEM activities, earning points as they collaborated, created and competed throughout the day.
The event concluded with a final challenge and the crowning of the Year 4 STEM Champions.
As an enrichment opportunity for high-potential learners, the day also introduced students to future Academic Excellence pathways, including the Lumiere Thinkers Program and the 2027 Da Vinci Decathlon.
