Write a Book in a Day Winners for 4th Year in a Row

Pimpama

Congratulations to the King's Pimpama Year 4, 5, and 6 Write a Book in Day teams for their outstanding achievements in the national Write a Book in a Day Competition 2024,  four years in a row! It's truly inspiring to see such dedication and talent. Not only have they excelled in their writing, but they are also making a positive impact by contributing to the Kids' Cancer Project.

The King's Pimpama Year 4, 5, and 6 Write a Book in Day teams (The Four the Write, The Ferocious Fives, and the Year Six Scribes teams) walked away with Commended, Best Book Primary School Qld/NT division and Best Illustrated Primary School National Winner, respectively.

The book titles are "The Power of the Stones" written by Four the Write,  "The Quest for the Enchanting Ruby" written by The Ferocious Fives, and Best Illustrated Primary Book National Winner went to "Taxi to the Truth" by the Year 6 Scribes team.  These books will be published and sent to children's cancer wards for children to read around the country.

Furthermore, it's fantastic to hear that King's Pimpama has been consistently recognized for its excellence in the Primary divisions over the past four years. This is a testament to the hard work and passion of the students and the support of their teachers and mentors.

The fact that the National Write a Book in a Day raised over $900,000 for the Kids' Cancer Project in 2024 is a remarkable achievement by all the schools in Australia, and it shows the power of collective effort in making a meaningful difference. Kudos to everyone involved for their dedication and generosity.

This is a wonderful example of how learning can be pursued passionately and result in not only personal growth but also a positive impact on the community. Keep up the amazing work, King's Pimpama Primary students!
