During Week 4, students from King’s LIFE team visited Ormeau State School to support its Breakfast Club and celebrate the important work of Scripture Union chaplains in local school communities.
Our LIFE students helped prepare and serve breakfast, played games and brought plenty of joy and encouragement to the morning. A special highlight was celebrating Chappy Gretel and recognising the positive impact she has on students and the wider Ormeau State School community.
The outreach gave our students a meaningful opportunity to live out their faith through practical service, encourage younger students and model the importance of community and connection. We are grateful to Ormeau State School for welcoming King’s and allowing our students to be part of such a special morning.
