The front oval was filled with colour, cheers and plenty of excitement as our Prep to Year 3 students took part in their Athletics Carnival
Students rotated through a range of age-appropriate events, including sprints, relays, long jump, high jump, javelin and shot put. Designed to introduce the fundamentals of athletics in a safe and supportive environment, the carnival gave every student the opportunity to participate, challenge themselves and enjoy being active alongside their classmates.
Whether striving for a personal best, trying an event for the first time or cheering loudly for Finney, Tyndale, Newton or Rayleigh, our young athletes showed wonderful courage, perseverance and house spirit. It was especially encouraging to see students supporting one another and celebrating each effort.
Thank you to the families who joined us to cheer from the sidelines and to the staff who helped create such a positive and memorable day. Congratulations to every student who participated and gave their best!
