This week, our Primary Honours Assembly celebrated the dedication, talent and growth of students across music, academics, leadership and personal excellence.
Students were recognised for achievements in the QUOTA Beenleigh Eisteddfod, Da Vinci Decathlon, Australian Mathematics Trust competitions, the Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee, Ethics Olympiad and the Premier’s Reading Challenge.
A highlight of the morning was applauding Glissando Strings, Tremolo Strings, Jupiter Band, Wind Band and the Junior String Quartet for their excellent performances and competition results.
We also celebrated outstanding individual achievements. Isabel L. received a Gold Honour for her result in the Australian Music Examinations Board Flute Level 4 examination, while Oscar B. received a Gold Honour after an incredible achievement of reading 5,275 books in the Premier’s Reading Challenge.
Congratulations to every award recipient, and thank you to the parents and staff whose encouragement and support help our students thrive. It was a joy to recognise the dedication and excellence demonstrated throughout the year.
