Fifteen enthusiastic students recently stepped up for the Year 2 Spelling Bee, an Academic Excellence Program initiative that introduces younger students to the College’s academic competition pathway.
The event gave students an early opportunity to build confidence and experience competitive spelling as they showcased skills developed through dedication, courage and hard work throughout the year.
Medallions were presented to the second and third-place finalists, while the overall Spelling Bee Champion received a special trophy. Audience members also joined in spontaneous spelling challenges, earning spot prizes for successfully tackling some particularly tricky words.
Congratulations to all our outstanding Year 2 Bees for embracing the challenge and representing King’s so confidently. Their enthusiasm and perseverance were wonderful examples of what it means to Learn Passionately.
