This term, members of the LIFE Team had the opportunity to visit Ormeau State School and serve breakfast to primary school students. It was a great chance to connect with younger students, build relationships, and support the wider community. Throughout the morning, our team helped prepare and serve breakfast while also spending time talking and interacting with the students. It was encouraging to see how simple acts of kindness and conversation could make a positive impact on their day.
The outreach also gave us the opportunity to work alongside chaplains from Scripture Union and learn more about the important role they play in supporting young people. It was rewarding to be part of something that served the wider community and helped create meaningful connections with students outside of our school. Opportunities like this remind us that even small acts of service can make a positive difference in the lives of others.
