LIFE Team Supports Mission Partner
This term our High School has been supporting 100% HOPE, one of King’s long‑time Mission Partners. It was started by a former King’s teacher and focuses on giving young people in Uganda a future through Christ‑centred education and strong, self‑sufficient communities.
Since 2011, King’s Alumni and Staff have travelled to Uganda to help Trishelle and the team, and this upcoming holiday, another group of staff will be going over. They’ll be taking resources with them, including the books donated by our school community.
It was great seeing how many students got involved and wanted to help. The LIFE Team was asked to help collect good‑quality books for students in Years 7–9 in Uganda, because their older students don’t have many reading or learning resources.
Our High School community was invited to bring books to PC or Reception, and every donation earned 10 Principal’s Cup points for their House. Overall, it was a meaningful way for us to support something important and make a real difference.
