During Term 2, our Year 5 students studied the work of iconic Australian artist Reg Mombassa, well known for his distinctive Mambo designs and thought-provoking artwork.
Inspired by his style, students explored a range of environmental issues and created their own original t-shirt designs to raise awareness about causes they are passionate about.
Students were encouraged to combine bold imagery, creativity and meaningful messages to communicate their chosen environmental concern.
The finished designs were entered into a competition across the Year 5 cohort, with entries judged on creativity, artistic skill and the effectiveness of their message.
