King’s Pimpama musicians represented the College with confidence and skill during a successful eisteddfod season, earning several individual and duet placings.
At the Quota Beenleigh Eisteddfod, Marcel (Year 7) placed third in Examination Grade Level Piano, AMEB Grade 4, while Marcus (Year 10) placed second in Examination Grade Level Piano, AMEB Grade 8. Marcel and Marcus also combined to earn second place in the Piano Duet, 15 Years and Under section.
At the Gold Coast Eisteddfod, Dion (Year 6) received a Very Highly Commended award in the Upper Strings Solo, AMEB Grades 3 and 4 section. Isabel (Year 5) placed third in the Petite Woodwind and Brass Championship, 10 Years and Under, and received a Very Highly Commended award in the Non-Classical Woodwind and Brass Solo, 12 Years and Under section.
Congratulations to each musician for the preparation, courage and musical growth shown through these performances. Their results reflect a genuine commitment to Learning Passionately.
