How to Deal with Anxiety - A Parent's Guide

Experts estimate that 20-30 percent of young people will suffer from an anxiety disorder before the age of 18. Not just a period of stress or worry, but a disorder qualifying as mental illness. And it’s getting worse – research indicates anxiety disorders in both adults and teenagers have risen by 20 percent in the last five years.

If this stresses you out, don’t miss this important parenting seminar, led by counsellor, educator and parent, Liz Giovas.

Liz will detail practical and effective strategies for families to deal with anxiety.

This is a free event, hosted by King's Student Wellbeing Team. Non-King’s parents very welcome.
