ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day holds a special place in our nation’s heart, as we honour the legacy of the ANZACS and the courage and sacrifice of all Australians who have served in war and conflict. It is a time to reflect on loss, express our gratitude, and remember the cost of our freedom. As a nation, we affirm the purpose of our collective remembrance with the solemn words, ‘Lest we forget’.

At each of our KCC campuses, our annual ANZAC services offer our school communities the opportunity to reflect personally and pay tribute to our defence force personnel. For some students, this brings a new level of depth and understanding to classroom learning. For others, it provides space for personal contemplation of family histories.
