Beyond "Country and Western"

The Beyond event was recently celebrated with a Country and Western theme, hosted by King's Church.  We had students from Prep to Year 3, teachers and staff all come out and join in the festivities, which included face painting, lawn games, pin the tail on the donkey and everyone's favourite, the petting zoo.  Our school community all enjoyed a free sausage sizzle sponsored by our P & F, while the lineup for coffee from Wavey Bone Coffee never ceased.  However, the highlight of our Beyond this term was having all the teachers come out and lead everyone in the most entertaining 'Country and Western' line dancing!  To finish the evening our King's Chaplains and Wellbeing team put on a drama called 'Zacchaeus the Cowboy' presenting to all our students a powerful message on belonging. It was an evening not to be missed, so make sure you are on the lookout for Term 4 Beyond!
