Celebration Night at King's Pimpama
Our 2022 Celebration Night was a culmination of King's culture, community and Christmas, as well as a special celebration of student success. Celebration Nights are an important part of our school calendar as they provide the occasion to recognise and award our students for their outstanding academic success and exceptional display of Christian Character and King's Foundational Values. This year's balance of informal and ceremonial sessions, running simultaneously, provided an exciting format after celebrating this occasion at the Yatala Drive-in for the past two years due to Covid.
Commencing just before school finished, our top oval provided the perfect relaxed setting for families to connect, and grab a bite to eat while being entertained by the Prep to Year 4 Christmas Carols, King's choirs, student musicians, our guest artist, Year 11 student Charlie Mitchell from KTTC, and professional roving performers, as they waited for their presentation session to commence. Our auditorium was filled with awardees and their families during the formal presentation of awards and the announcement of our 2023 Student Leadership Teams. Congratulations to our student award winners for showing excellence through your outstanding achievements!
