Chaplaincy News | Term 3 So Far

Chaplaincy

With restrictions to school assemblies over the past fortnight, Mr Malcolm and our Chaplaincy team had to reimagine Chapels, and so instead of live services, they created engaging videos to play in King's classrooms during Chapel times. The hard work from our dedicated Chaplaincy team ensured students could still receive an incredible message about God, from a different setting.

In High School this fortnight, in-class Chapels continued with the Term 3 theme 'Jesus has qualified the disqualified' and students enjoyed hearing from guest video presenter, Shane Willard, as well as the chaplaincy team. Primary School carried on their fun Olympic Games-inspired theme 'God for Gold,' with a focus on the verse Hebrews 12:1 - "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." We hope to see live chapels return to the auditorium in the near future!
