Colours of India Missions Day

Missions

The vibrant colours of India's flag filled King's Primary campus on Friday, 5 May, as our Primary community wore orange, green and white and rallied together to raise funds for our friends in India. The LIFE Program dedicates a day each term to fundraising for a charity, to remind us to look beyond ourselves and help those less fortunate. This valuable program is just one of the ways we provide learning moments through serving - giving students the chance to authentically practise humility and Christian leadership. Our incredible LIFE team are an amazing group of students and staff who continually go above and beyond to serve others, and once again they cheerfully served their peers at our BBQ fundraiser.

This term's Primary fundraiser supported Manna Ministries in India - a Christian organisation bringing hope and a brighter future to poor and at-risk children through their orphanages, childcare programs and schools. Thanks to our College community for enthusiastically taking part in our Colours of India day and demonstrating such generosity for Manna Ministries as we show Jesus' love to those in need.

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
