Creativity Soared at Creative By Design Week

Pimpama

Every year, Creative By Design is a highlight for our Primary School students and staff. This year did not disappoint with events including a Silent Disco, our annual King’s Has Talent and a Puppet Show! The theme of this year “Make the Future” invited students to reflect on the talents God has given them and how He might want to use them to contribute to the future.

In addition, students were able to contribute to other people's futures with our Mission’s Markets, raising funds for SU Queensland, 100% Hope Foundation and King’s Community Care raising over $4800. Everywhere you walked around the school, classrooms buzzed with excitement as teachers got to pour into their passion areas of drama, art, dance, design, photography and so much more!

Joseph Hall in 4PD took this photo on an iPad as part of Creative By Design Week’s Photography session.  Joseph named this photo the 'Tree of Life'.  Well done on exploring your creativity, Joseph!

Students in Years 2 to 6 were able to select electives to fine-tune some of their skills in master classes. As it has become tradition, we finished the week with a Colour Run to send students on their holidays. Smiles couldn’t be wiped from anyone’s face as we celebrated the end of a fantastic term!
